Notre confrère anglophone Digit-Life vient de publié sur son site un test comparatif de 12 cartes mères équipées du chipset AMD 690G. Voici la liste des cartes mères qui composent ce test comparatif, ASUS M2A-VM (HDMI), Biostar TA690G-AM2, ECS AMD690GM-M2, Formoza FM2A692-GHG (JetWay M2A692-GHG), Foxconn A690GM2MA-8KRS2H, Gigabyte MA69VM-S2, Gigabyte MA69G-S3, la MSI K9AGM2-F et la K9AGM2-FIH, MSI K9AG Neo2-Digital, Sapphire Pure Element (PE-AM2RS690MH). Ces cartes mères intègrent un socket AM2 qui supporte bien sûr les processeurs AMD Athlon 64/X2/FX, Sempron et Opteron. La configuration de test est quant à elle composé d’un processeur AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ de 2 x 1 Go de mémoire Kingston KHX7200D2K2/1G (DDR2-800, 5-5-5-15), d’un disque dur Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 (SATA, 7200 rpm), d’une alimentation Chieftec CFT-560-A12C et enfin tourne sous l’OS (Système d’exploitation) Windows XP SP2.
